Friends of Point Peron is a vibrant collective of nature lovers who come together to rejuvenate and protect the unique flora and fauna of Cape Peron Park. They are committed to making a positive impact on the environment by planting native species and conducting informative workshops. The group has planted over 5,500 seedlings and picked up rubbish over the past ten years. They also support the Urban Bushland Council and Conservation Volunteers Australia in their efforts to maintain the park's natural beauty and ecological balance. Spring – watering, weeding, rubbish, growing cuttings Summer – watering, mulching, monitoring our plantings Autumn and winter – planting, dealing with winter weeds, mapping paths.
