Heartbeat Haven Sanctuary Inc is a registered animal rescue charity based in Toogoolawah, Queensland.
We rescue and rehabilitate animals in need, provide lifetime sanctuary care where appropriate, support ethical rehoming, and work with people who need help finding safe outcomes for their animals.
We are also developing a Safe Haven program to provide temporary animal care for people experiencing family and domestic violence, hospitalisation or other serious crises.
Our residents and rescue cases include animals such as horses, cattle, goats, pigs, sheep, chickens, roosters and turkeys.
As a growing charity, volunteers play an important role in helping us expand our rescue capacity, develop new programs and infrastructure, build partnerships and create better outcomes for animals and the people who care about them.
