About Heartbeat Haven Sanctuary Inc

Heartbeat Haven Sanctuary Inc is a registered animal rescue charity based in Toogoolawah, Queensland.

We rescue and rehabilitate animals, provide lifetime sanctuary care where needed, support ethical rehoming, and are developing a Safe Haven program to provide temporary animal care for people experiencing family and domestic violence, hospitalisation or other serious crises.

The opportunity

We are looking for someone with experience in corporate partnerships, sponsorship or business development to help us connect specific sanctuary projects with businesses that want to make a meaningful contribution.

This is not a general fundraising role.

We need someone who understands how businesses make sponsorship and community investment decisions and can help us identify the right organisations, reach the right people and develop credible partnership opportunities.

What you’ll be doing

• Researching potential corporate sponsors and partners

• Identifying relevant decision-makers and helping make introductions

• Helping us develop sponsorship proposals around specific projects

• Matching project needs and budgets with suitable businesses

• Advising on partnership positioning, proposals and negotiations

• Helping build a longer-term pipeline of corporate supporters

Adam and Jess, the founders of Heartbeat Haven Sanctuary Inc, will remain directly involved in prospective partner conversations and will manage the delivery of funded projects.

We are not expecting you to carry the entire relationship or project yourself. We need someone who can help us open the right doors and get strong opportunities moving.

The impact you can have

One of our immediate priorities is developing dedicated infrastructure for rescued roosters, with further projects planned around animal intake, rehabilitation and crisis support.

Rather than approaching businesses for generic donations, we want to present clear projects with clear costs, clear outcomes and a meaningful reason for businesses to become involved.

Your experience could directly help turn those projects into real infrastructure and services for animals and people who need them.

Who we’re looking for

You may have experience in:

• Corporate partnerships

• Sponsorship

• Business development

• Account management

• Corporate social responsibility

• Community investment

• Philanthropy

• Commercial proposal development

Previous animal rescue experience is not required.

What matters most is that you understand how to identify and develop genuine business partnerships, communicate professionally with organisations and work independently.

Commitment

Approximately 2–4 hours per week, with flexibility around when the work is completed.

This is an ongoing remote opportunity and can be completed from anywhere in Australia.

We’ll provide an introduction to Heartbeat Haven Sanctuary Inc, our current projects, priorities and partnership goals, along with ongoing support from the founders.
