Volunteer Homework Club Tutor

The volunteer tutor provides support after school hours to students enrolled in local schools in the City of Whittlesea. A significant number of these students come from culturally and linguistically diverse communities. Whittlesea Community Connections is a Child Safe organisation and all volunteers will be required to undergo a Working with Children Check and a National Police Check.

• Support the learning needs of students • Assist with weekly homework tasks or assignments • Develop positive relationships with young people on the program • Work cooperatively with the other volunteer tutors and staff on the program • Participate in an evaluation of the program
