In 2013 Silver Bridle Action Group Inc entered a 15-year facilities management agreement with Gold Coast City Council to run the Lynne Richardson Community Centre in Molendinar. The Centre provides support and assistance to both local and broader communities through programs tailored for all ages and stages of life.

Since 2019, the Centre has worked together with Lion Ashmore and Rotary Ashmore to run a community foodbank in Molendinar. We collect food from Secondbite, ALDI Food rescue and Fresh Food Galleria at Pacific Fair. We sort the food and keep them until the collection time on Thursday.

We are looking for volunteers that can drive manual vehicle, able to do manual handling and help with the food sorting as well.

We believe no one should go hungry. It is plentiful and we also reduce food wastage.
