Whittlesea Community Connections (WCC) is an independent, community-based organisation that works alongside the community to develop programs and services that respond to community needs.

The reception falls under Operations, assisting community members with personal and practical support for a range of issues including housing, family violence, financial assistance, advocacy etc.

The aim of the reception is to maintain the connection with community, providing face to face information and provide effective and efficient administrative support.

This volunteer position is supervised by The Office Coordinator and the key responsibilities are :

• Greet all community members who attend the office in person • Inform staff member of clients attending in person appointments • Assess needs of community members and lead them to the Intake Officer based on query • Provide administrative support to agency • Filing, photocopying and data entry where required • Assist with form filling
