Pet Therapy/Visits

Southern Cross Care are looking for dogs/animals that are calm and quiet to visit elderly residents in our aged care facilities across Perth and bring joy to their day! Watch their eyes light up when you enter the room.

A Canine temperament/behavioural assessment is required by Southern Cross Care WA to ensure that your dog is suitable to visit an aged care facility. This needs to be completed before you and your dog can be cleared to commence volunteering. The cost of this is $50 (paid directly to the trainer) and will be conducted at Kings Park at an arranged time.
