Volunteer with Vinnies to make a difference for those in need. For some Vinnies volunteers, this is a chance to give something back to the community, to use their skills and experience to make a difference in the lives of people who need assistance the most. For others, it is a chance to develop new skills, experience and meet like-minded people in a supportive environment.

We are looking for someone who would like to work a few hours a week alongside other volunteers at our Lawnton Depot.

Duties include helping to sort through donated products including clothing, books and bric-a-brac according to their quality and prepare stock for distribution to our Vinnies stores.

This role would suit anyone who is interested in warehousing or loves fashion and could help sort our clothing donations.

Other duties on site can include:

• Preparation of materials for recycling and baling • Daily equipment safety checks • Follow WHS Policy and procedures • General tidying of warehouse to maintain a safe and tidy workplace.
