Poppy came from a small village in Greece called Gianohori, then raised her family in Kalgoorlie. She is of Greek Orthodox faith. Whether you're of Greek origin or not, if you love art and taking walks in the garden, Poppy would like to meet you. She's not able to paint any more but she can help you create if you're happy to take art supplies when you visit.

If you have a genuine love for older people and enjoy building friendships, you will find becoming an aged care volunteer visitor a very rewarding way to spend an hour a week or fortnight. Your visits will become valuable gifts to Poppy lifting her spirits and well-being and you will undoubtedly enjoy some unique and wonderful stories along the way.
