Housing Mentoring Support Volunteer (3533)

We are seeking a caring and organised person to mentor and assist clients with housing needs. In this role, you will support clients to search for available properties. This includes liaising with real estate agents, landlords and other housing services to gather information and organise inspections. You will assist clients in preparing and submitting rental property applications, support clients in tracking their application progress and help them understand outcomes.

This is an opportunity to maintain and or learn new skills and experience. You will support people from refugee backgrounds in finding suitable housing for their families. Work in a supportive team environment.

Induction and training. Resources such as example applications, relevant contacts, access to a computer, internet, telephone and printer. Ongoing support, direction, and guidance.
