Reception Support

Are you passionate about making a difference in your community? Albany Community Hospice is seeking Volunteer Reception Support to provide an efficient and welcoming reception service for visitors. In this role, you will greet, welcome, and direct visitors at the reception desk, ensure all visitors sign in and out, and manage any visitor screening requirements. Additional responsibilities include answering incoming phone calls, checking voicemail, passing on messages, and supporting the on-duty team as needed.

-Satisfactory Volunteer National Police Certificate (Hospice will help facilitate this) -Experience in customer service or strong customer service skills. -Excellent verbal communication and listening skills. -Strong time management and organisational abilities. -Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. -Understanding of palliative care or a willingness to learn.
