Cancer Council Tasmania's (CCTs) Cancer Support Groups are an effective and powerful means for individuals to learn about up-to-date evidenced based information pertaining to their cancer and it's treatments, as well as receive emotional support from sharing and hearing from others who understand. Volunteers who help facilitate these groups find the role to be highly rewarding, not only from the privilege of sharing in the cancer journey's of members but also due to learning a great deal about many other cancers and their treatments, which they can then pass on to others.

This group has a focus on men's cancer.

Co-Facilitators are responsible for ensuring the group runs smoothly with all participants having the chance to share.

Co-Facilitators would also need to commit to approximately 3 hours per month, in Launceston
