Shifts can be for only an hour (e.g. 8.30-9.30am), if needed. This role does not require any manual handling or lifting.

Each Saturday morning from 7:15am-8:15 am 4 dedicated volunteers help to set up all the public seating, marquees and infrastructure that is used in the public spaces at the market. These spaces provide the opportunity for people to connect and gives the market a community feel. This role requires a moderate amount of manual handling including bending, lifting and moving marquee weights (up to 20kg)

Are you available to help a member of our community by assisting them do their gardening? Assisted Gardening volunteers are essential to our service delivery. These volunteers provide support to our clients while doing their gardening. Assisted Gardening may involve carrying out gardening with our client in their garden. This may be pruning, planting, hand weeding, mulching, and watering with our client, as well as exploring any other gardening task that may require assistance with.
