Sunday Afternoon Gardening Group Volunteer Needed

Are you passionate and committed to making a difference in the lives of older people? When you become an Anglicare Volunteer you are joining a team of thousands who brighten people’s lives everyday.

We are seeking a volunteer who will enhance the lives of our Residents by assisting them to continue with their love of gardening.

Our home has a number of balcony gardens and raised garden beds our residents tend to. Support and work alongside our residents in looking after the garden spaces. Experience with gardens and/or horticulture is needed. Volunteer would be supported by staff as needed and provided with necessary tools for the role.

Duties may include: Assist with establishing seasonal planting in various container gardens and garden beds Assist Residents with choices of seedlings to be planted Assist Residents with maintaining garden beds Have a chat and cuppa with residents

Sunday afternoon - Fortnightly role.

Volunteer applicants must be over 18 years of age.
