CAFE / KIOSK Volunteers in Residential Aged Care Home

We are seeking volunteers who would enjoy assisting in a cafe located inside one of our residential aged care homes at Castle Hill. The role would be suitable for volunteers who have a warm and friendly nature and who enjoy engaging with older people, their friends and family.

The role will entail making and serving tea/coffee and light refreshments, clearing and resetting tables, welcoming and chatting with residents and their guests.

The role would be 1-2 hours per shift with weekly/fortnightly Saturday afternoon availability.

You will receive excellent support from our dedicated staff and should find your time volunteering personally rewarding as well. Our residents are incredible individuals with rich stories and life experiences that they often enjoy sharing during activity times. They are always eager to connect, as time spent with visitors brings joy and enriches their lives.

Saturday afternoon availability only. Applicants must be over 18 years.
