Join our Front of House Volunteer Team, and support us to: Open/close the Museum, welcome visitors, process admission tickets & attend to visitor inquiries and connect visitors to exhibits and events that share the significance of maritime heritage & art.

Training

Orientation in Museum opening/closing, till operation, visitor inquiries procedures. Ongoing support

Time required

Rostered shifts: 10:30am-1:30pm or 1:30pm-4:00pm half day shifts, or 10:30am- 4:00pm full day shift. Frequency: Once a week or once every fortnight. Other availabilities can be discussed/accommodated.

Reimbursement

Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided. Space to store, prepare & eat own lunch.

Requirements

Working with Children Check

Good communication and people skills, and a passion for or interest in history, heritage, the arts and learning new things. If you do not currently have a WWCC, the Queenscliffe Maritime Museum will support you to obtain one.
