For over 70 years Bethanie has been warmly welcoming older West Australians into a caring and personal environment. Our Bethanie community is enriched by the generous support of our caring volunteers.
Our vibrant West Perth Social Centre helps enable our clients to remain at home by providing a valuable social and therapy wellbeing service, with a focus on quality of life.
Who we are looking for:
- friendly and caring volunteers who enjoy socialising with others
- interest in creating welcoming outdoor spaces
- if you share a passion for enriching the lives of the elderly, are physically fit and enjoy working outdoors in the fresh air and sunshine, we’d love to hear from you!
About this role:
- this fulfilling role would see you engage our West Perth Social Centre clients in conversations, helping improve their wellbeing whist maintaining our lovely gardens.
- perform light gardening duties such as maintaining garden beds, pruning, weeding, watering, raking and generally keeping the garden tidy and beautiful for everyone to enjoy
- help create a welcoming outdoor space that is enjoyed by our customers, visitors and staff
