Melville Primary School is welcoming community members who want to make a difference by mentoring a student for just one hour a week.

Through EdConnect Australia, you’ll be matched with a student who would benefit from extra encouragement, confidence-building, or simply having a trusted adult to talk to.

This role is calm, one-on-one, and fits easily into your week. While it’s not a one-off activity, it is manageable, and designed to suit your schedule and preferences.

If you know someone else who’s interested, we can place you both at the same school (in separate roles or classrooms), so you can support the school community together.

Full training and ongoing support are provided. You don’t need to be a teacher - just someone who can listen, encourage, and show up consistently.
