Location: Mt Gravatt Showgrounds, Brisbane Frequency: Every third Saturday of the month Hours: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Benefits: Lunch and drinks provided About the Role: Join our team at the Queensland Vegan Markets and help support Farm Animal Rescue! Volunteers assist at our stall by selling, cooking, or assembling delicious vegan food products and merchandise. This is a hands-on role that’s perfect for anyone who loves engaging with the community, sharing vegan goodies, and supporting animal rescue efforts. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assemble vegan food items for sale
- Serve customers and handle transactions
- Assist with setting up and packing down the stall
- Maintain a clean and welcoming stall environment
- Share information about Farm Animal Rescue and our programs
Skills and Attributes:
- Friendly and approachable attitude
- Comfortable working with food and handling sales
- Able to work as part of a team
- Enthusiasm for animal welfare and vegan lifestyle
Time Commitment: Volunteers are asked to commit to every third Saturday of the month, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Perks:
