KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Provide welcoming and informative interactions with gallery visitors · Monitor the gallery spaces to ensure the safety of visitors and security of artworks · Assist with the daily opening and closing of the gallery to visitors · Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and procedures · Ensure the gallery space is clean and tidy · Capture and record daily visitor numbers · Direct any specific visitor enquiries to relevant Old Ambo persons eg gallery, theatre or creative studio space hire; exhibition ideas · Tasks and duties as directed by Volunteer Coordinator
DESIRABLE QUALITIES · Experience in a customer service environment · Strong communication skills · An interest in the arts · Punctuality and reliability
