The Old Ambulance Station is an art gallery, theatre and studios for creatives located at 80 Howard Street, Nambour on the Sunshine Coast. The Old Ambo is managed by the Sunshine Coast Arts Industry Precinct Inc. a not for profit community organisation. The facility is owned by Sunshine Coast Council. The Old Ambulance Station's aim is to activate disused spaces to encourage the community to come together, have pride in their towns, participate in culture, whilst fostering a safe, supportive and engaging environment that celebrates and supports creatives to build a prosperous, resilient and globally focused creative and cultural industry across the Sunshine Coast region . The Old Ambulance Station is committed to a sustainable model of practice. Building the sustainability of the organisation's operations on income generated throughout its managed facilities, therefore reducing the organisation’s reliance on the need for external funding.
