Reliable Transport Volunteer – Food Collection

Dingo Den Animal Rescue and our sister organisation Flocking Adorable work together under shared leadership and a commitment to high animal welfare standards. Dingo Den Animal Rescue is a registered charity established in 2014, providing rescue and rehoming services, advocacy and lifetime care at our sanctuary to vulnerable Australian wildlife species. Flocking Adorable is a livestock rescue and working farm established in 2018, offering animal support services to livestock owners, and eco-friendly land management services to property caretakers.

The Role We are seeking consistent volunteers to manage scheduled food collection that supports daily animal care across our sites. This is a responsibility-based role requiring punctuality, communication and follow-through. Our environments operate within clear procedures and leadership direction to ensure the safety and wellbeing of both animals and volunteers.

Responsibilities • Collect donated food from partner locations • Transport supplies safely and punctually • Maintain clear communication regarding schedules • Follow set pickup instructions

Requirements • Current driver’s licence • Reliable vehicle suitable for transporting donations • Strong time management • Physical capacity for carrying heavy loads, lifting and bending • Consistent weekly availability • Minimum 3 month commitment • Attendance at Monday 7:30pm team meeting
