Stroke Recovery Clubs/Groups are a meeting place for people to share their knowledge and experiences of Stroke. They are an excellent source of companionship for individuals affected by Stroke including family and carers and are coordinated and managed by members of the group. Stroke Recovery Association NSW is actively recruiting for the following positions; - Volunteer Administration Generalist - Volunteer Generalist
Hosts/Hostesses assist with Day Clubs activities, games, quizzes etc. Assist serving morning tea and lunch. Assists and encourages conversation between members. Assists all Volunteers when needed.
Understanding the direction of the Catering Supervisor and cooperate with other team members. Assist with the task required to provide food and drink to large numbers. Help with the planning of menu, purchase, preparation and storage of foods. Setting and waiting on tables and washing drying and cleaning up.
The Safety Officer Identifies and removes any safety hazards in the club. Conducts regular Emergency Procedure practice as well as evacuation. Completes Incident and Accident Forms when required. Conducts routine safety checks of venue. Maintains First Aid Kit. Works closely with the Coordinator on all Safety measures.

Plans and manages Catering Budget. Plans menus for regular Club Meetings (morning tea and lunch). Coordinate the purchase, preparation, storage and serving of food and drinks. Ensure good hygiene practices are observed at all times. Keep a list of special dietary requirements. Supports the catering team and works beside them in a positive manner.
