About the Role

Toowoomba Homeless Outreach is looking for a reliable and caring volunteer to assist with collecting donated bakery items and delivering them to support our daily breakfast service.

This simple but important role helps us provide food, dignity, and connection to people in our community who are doing it tough.

Key Responsibilities Collect bakery items from Born and Bread Bakery Deliver items to a designated location Ensure safe handling and transport of food Be punctual and dependable each week Days & Times Monday and Thursday 4:30pm pickup Skills & Requirements Current driver’s licence (C Class) and reliable vehicle Dependable and consistent Friendly and respectful in all interactions Food Handling Certificate (required before starting) What’s Provided Fuel reimbursement at $1.50 per kilometre Support from a welcoming and purpose-driven team Opportunity to make a real, practical difference About Us
