Join a tree planting day in the Yarra valley in June/July!

Join us for a beautiful day planting native seedlings on farmland in the Yarra Valley! Help restore and protect Victoria's endangered environments! No experience required - we will train you on the day. Morning tea and lunch are provided for free.

TreeProject is a not-for-profit organisation that has been growing and planting native seedlings for farmers and Landcare groups for over 30 years. We have grown over 2 million trees! This year alone we are growing over 150,000 trees, and helping landowners plant about 50,000 trees! Come and join us!

In small groups, you will be planting seedlings directly into the ground. A relaxed level of outdoor activity and good fun are part of each day's experience. You'll meet friendly, like-minded people, and return home knowing that you've done something meaningful.

You'll need your own transport, approximately one hour's drive from Melbourne CBD.

Multiple days are available throughout June/July - you can register for one or many. The locations listed in this Opportunity are indicative of where each planting day is held - the actual location for each day is supplied once you register for a specific day.
