We are looking for volunteers who are interested in visiting lonely older people in the Eastern suburbs as part of a Government Visiting Program. If you are friendly, like a chat and can commit to visiting someone once a week or fortnight, please get in touch. Just an hour or two of your time once a week or fortnight would make such a difference! It’s also a great opportunity for you to gain personal satisfaction, contribute your talents and experience and gain new skills.

Would you like to make a difference in the lives of people in your own community and also hold a prominent volunteer role? Become a Community Visitor with the Office of the Public Advocate. Community Visitors are the eyes and ears of the community and perform an important role of upholding the human rights of people with a cognitive disability and/or mental illness who are living in supported care.

The Camp Administrator aids with camp planning and organisation by making sure that all camper information is accurate and up-to-date, following up on any information that is missing or needs updating. They would also respond to camp applications and provide answers to any questions or concerns from parents. An additional role for the Camp Administrator would be assisting with promotion by reaching out to schools and churches for recommendations for potential campers.
