Sponsorship Manager (Volunteer)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Building relationships with local businesses and community partners
• Reaching out to potential sponsors using our ready-made sponsorship packages
• Looking after existing sponsors and making sure they feel valued
• Coordinating with our team to deliver sponsor benefits (social posts, signage, etc.)
• Managing simple tracking of sponsor conversations and renewals

What You’re NOT Expected To Do

This role is focused on relationships, not admin overload:

• You won’t be managing club finances or invoicing
• You won’t need to design signage or merchandise
• You won’t be posting on social media yourself

You focus on the people side—we’ll support the rest.

About You

This role is perfect for someone who:

• Enjoys chatting with people and building relationships
• Is confident reaching out to local businesses
• Is organised enough to keep simple notes or follow-ups
• Likes the idea of helping a community club grow
• Has a “sales-lite” mindset (no hard selling required)
• Ideally, they would have connections within the Penrith buisness community, but is not essential.
