General trade type works

Volunteers are sought to help in maintaining and upgrading the infrastructure of our volunteer-run nursery, including the irrigation system; polytunnels, shadehouses & propagation sheds; nursery benches; minor excavations & construction, sleeper retaining walls, and Ag drainage.

This may interest those with handyperson experience, technical, construction, plumbing or trades experience; or electrical trade qualifications.

Volunteers might also wish to be involved in the native plant propagation process.

Our community nursery has been operating for more than 30 years, growing indigenous plants and supporting local biodiversity, habitat restoration and community education. The nursery is entirely volunteer-run and plays an important role in supplying plants for revegetation projects across the region.

Volunteering with us offers the chance to contribute practical skills to meaningful community projects, connect with a friendly and passionate volunteer team, and help shape the future of a well-established environmental organisation. Your contribution will directly support the nursery’s ability to grow, improve facilities for volunteers and visitors, and continue supplying indigenous plants for years to come.
