About the Role
As a Community Pantry Volunteer, you will assist with the day-to-day operations of the pantry program and help ensure community members have a positive and supportive experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with service delivery of the Community Pantry Program
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
- Supporting client registrations and sign-ins
- Assisting with food handling
- Food set up and pack up
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
- Supporting the team with general pantry operations
About You
- We are looking for someone who:
- Has a genuine desire to help others
- Brings a positive, can-do attitude
- Enjoys working with people from diverse backgrounds
- Has customer service experience (helpful but not essential)
- Has cash handling skills (helpful but not essential)
- Works well within a team environment
- Is reliable, respectful, and community-focused
