Volunteer (FOYS) Fundraising & Events Team Member
We are looking for friendly, reliable volunteers to help with a variety of fun community fundraising events.
As a volunteer we are across many community fundraising activities including BBQ's, Cake Stalls (IGA & Bunnings), Trivia Nights including the Salt House, Surf Club (Trinity Beach, Palm Cove), Dunwoodys AND we have a few big events such as the Dogs Day Out Festival, Cats Day Out Festival (new), Dog Film Festival at CPAC and the ever popular Santa Photos at Limberlost. The roles do vary from manning stalls, to social media posts and advertising, gaining donations, food handling etc. If you are interested in broadening your experience, making friends and learning some new things then come along to a meeting. There is no obligation to attend every meeting or to do it all. Some of the things required:
- Help set up and/or pack up stalls
- Serve customers and chat to the public about YAPS
- Sell raffle tickets and Merchandise
- Assist with food handling at BBQ's and cake stalls
- Work and communicate with team members.
