We provide a diverse range of active, educational, and social programs that offer a welcoming space for all community members to contribute, participate, and support one another.

Job Description: Are you friendly, organised, and love being around people? We are launching a vibrant Community Badminton Program for children, and we are looking for 2 to 3 enthusiastic volunteers to help us keep things running smoothly and create a welcoming environment for local families!

While the program features a professional coach who handles all the badminton training for the participants, our volunteers play a vital role behind the scenes—building community spirit, supporting parents, and helping with basic logistics.

Key Responsibilities: Welcoming & Registration: Greet families as they arrive, register participants, and assist parents in completing necessary consent and registration forms.

Parent Socialisation: Chat and socialise with parents during the sessions, helping them feel connected and welcomed within the community.

Childminding & Play: Engage and play with younger siblings or toddlers whom parents bring along, keeping them safely entertained while the older children train.

Light Setup: Help set up and adjust the badminton nets before the session begins.

Schedule & Commitment: When: Saturdays 5-8pm

Who We Are Looking For: People person! Warm, approachable, and confident in chatting with parents from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Reliable individuals who enjoy a community sports environment.

Asset: Knowing how to play badminton is a great asset (though not strictly required, as a professional coach leads the training!).

Comfortable interacting with and keeping an eye on young children.

A valid **Working with Children Check (WWCC) **is required (we can assist you with the free volunteer application process if needed).

What We Offer: We provide a lively, supportive, and active working environment where your contributions directly help local families stay healthy and connected. You will gain great experience in sports program coordination, community engagement, and event support, all while working alongside a friendly team.
