Chaplaincy Volunteers support Mission by bringing the light of Christ into our communities, offering uplift to people who are part of our community and who access our services. They provide spiritual and emotional support to residents within our Aged Care community under the guidance of the Seniors and Supported Living Chaplain.


As a Chaplaincy Volunteer, you may be involved in

  • Providing one on one pastoral support and companionship
  • Participating in or leading Bible studies, devotions, or times of prayer
  • Supporting spiritual wellbeing programs within the service
  • Building relationships grounded in care, encouragement, and respect
  • Assisting and working in partnership with the Chaplain

What We’re Looking For

  • You will be an active member of a local faith community
  • Ideally you have experience serving and supporting others within a faith based setting
  • Strong one on one relational and pastoral care skills
  • Confidence in leading a Bible study, devotion, or time of prayer
  • The willingness to work collaboratively under the guidance of the Chaplain
  • Compassion and commitment to building meaningful connections
