The Treasurer should have accounting skills and formal qualifications such as a Bachelor of Accounting and be a member of an accounting authority, CPA or CA Australia. They must have experience in the not-for-profit sector.

As a Volunteer Bus Driver at St Vincent’s Care Services - Mitchelton, you’ll be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team. This role supports residents to participate in a special monthly outings to a point of interest. You’ll be driving a 14 seater bus with automatic transmission, which requires a regular C Class licence.
The co-facilitator of a pain support group (PSG) for Mitchelton (north of Brisbane) region helps the group to: share their experiences of living with chronic pain, educate the group about self-management techniques and to effectively use healthcare settings. The PSG provides an avenue for people with pain to socialise with others and reduce the isolation of chronic pain. The group meets once a month for 1.5 to 2 hours.
Volunteers will be required to attend our Mitchelton or St Lucia services to pick up meals before delivering them to clients' homes. Volunteers spend a couple of minutes with each client to deliver meals & provide wellbeing checks. Meal delivery runs take 1.5 - 3 hours each weekday. You can volunteer on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. We have other volunteer roles available, including Admin, Communications, Kitchen, Events, and more. Please get in touch to find out more.

MDFA's Peer Support Groups provide a safe and welcoming space for people living with aged-related macular degeneration to share their stories and ask questions of their peers. The Facilitator role is well suited to someone with good communications skills and confidence in public speaking. Ideally you will have experience facilitating a peer support group and/or demonstrate the ability to lead a balanced discussion. Personal experience with macular disease is desirable, not necessary.
