Community Pantry Volunteer
We are looking for friendly, reliable, and hands-on volunteers to support our Community Pantry at FinWell Mt Druitt. This role is all about helping provide access to essential food items while creating a welcoming and respectful environment for everyone in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with setting up and packing down the pantry
- Sorting, stocking, and organising food items
- Supporting visitors in a friendly and respectful manner
- Helping monitor stock levels and maintain cleanliness
- Assisting with basic record keeping if required
- Working alongside the team to ensure smooth daily operations
About the Role:
This is a physical, hands-on role that involves standing, lifting, and moving stock. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys working as part of a team and engaging with the community in a positive way.
Support & Training:
Full training and ongoing support are provided to ensure you feel confident and capable in all aspects of the role.
