Volunteer Communications Assistant (remote option)

Social Media Calendar Management
- Maintain and update the PCSA Social Media Calendar across Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
- Coordinate social media requests from the team:
- Seek approval from the CEC
- Add approved items to the calendar
- Draft content and submit for approval
- Schedule, post, and monitor engagement
- Monitor social media enquiries and engagement:
- Transition all enquiries and comments into Monday.com
- Alert the CEC to any potential issues, concerns, or risks
- Ensure all social media activities are scheduled, confirmed, and tracked.
- Anticipate scheduling conflicts and proactively resolve them.
- Provide monthly social media performance reports.
- Monitor similar organisations’ social media and identify potential stories or opportunities for the CEC.
Electronic Direct Mail (EDM) Support
- Work closely with the CEC to coordinate all PCSA EDMs via Mailchimp.
- Collate content, topics, and updates from the team.
- Draft stories and source images for EDMs, then submit to the CEC for approval and distribution.
- Provide monthly EDM performance reports.
- Monitor similar organisations’ EDMs and identify potential stories or opportunities for the CEC.
Media Monitoring Support
- Weekly monitor media for topics related to palliative care across South Australia
- Provide monthly Media Monitoring reports to CEC and CEO
