Are You a Primary School Insider With a Passion for Change?

🚨 VOLUNTEER ALERT 🚨
Because we’ve been waiting for YOU.
Picture this: thousands of primary school teachers walking into classrooms each day feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, and quietly wondering if they’re cut out for the job. Not because they aren’t brilliant — they are — but because nobody ever actually taught them how to manage behaviour effectively.
That’s the problem. And we’re part of the solution.
Advancing Communities Australia (ACA) is partnering with AdamSense — the brainchild of Michele Adamson, a primary school behaviour specialist with 20+ years in the classroom — to bring the CRACR behaviour management framework to schools that need it most. CRACR stands for Caring, Rapport, Applying Boundaries, Consistent Consequences, and Reflection for Growth. In short: it turns classroom chaos into calm. And the research-backed results? Let’s just say principals are taking note.
🎯 The Mission (Should You Choose to Accept It)
We’re recruiting volunteers who know the primary school sector — teachers, ex-teachers, school administrators, parents embedded in school communities, education advocates, or anyone who just gets how schools tick.
Your mission? Work with us and AdamSense to:
- Identify and connect with schools that would benefit from the pilot program, giving them access to valuable resources, support, and professional learning at no cost.
- Create engaging resources and communications that resonate with educators and inspire schools to get involved.
- Start important conversations with schools — opening doors to calmer classrooms, stronger staff wellbeing, and better outcomes for teachers and students across Australia.
This isn’t filing paperwork. This is real, meaningful community work — and it starts with you knowing the right people, understanding the sector, and caring deeply about what happens in those classrooms.
🏫 Is This You? You don’t need a cape (although we won’t say no). You just need:
- Familiarity with the primary school sector — as a teacher, support staff member, parent, community member, or education professional.
- A genuine passion for improving outcomes for teachers, students, and communities.
- An understanding that behaviour management is about relationships, not punishment.
- Communication skills that make people lean in, not click away.
- The belief that education is one of the most powerful levers we have for community wellbeing.
