FOSTERCARE SPORTS

Logo for FOSTERCARE SPORTS

Fostercare Sports is a volunteer-led charity helping children and young people in foster and out-of-home care connect with local community sport.

We work with carers, caseworkers, foster care agencies, government referral partners, sporting associations and local clubs to help remove the barriers that can stop children in care from joining a team. This can include helping find the right local club, supporting registrations, coordinating fee support, sourcing equipment and helping children feel welcomed into a local sporting community.

As our referral numbers and partner network continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled volunteer to help us build a practical Monday CRM system that can support our next stage of growth.

Key duties

We are looking for a Volunteer Monday CRM Builder / Systems Specialist to help us design and build a simple, scalable CRM system in Monday.com.

This may include:

  • Mapping our referral and placement process
  • Designing Monday CRM boards to manage children’s referrals, carers, caseworkers, clubs and sporting partners
  • Creating clear fields, stages and workflows for referral tracking
  • Building automations to support follow-up, task allocation and reminders
  • Creating dashboards or views to help our volunteer team see what needs action
  • Helping us manage contacts, organisations and referral sources in a more structured way
  • Supporting testing and refinement once the system is being used by the team
  • Providing simple guidance or documentation so volunteers can use the system confidently

Skills and experience needed

This role would suit someone with strong working knowledge of Monday CRM / Monday.com and experience designing practical workflow, CRM or database systems.

The ideal volunteer will have:

  • Strong Monday.com / Monday CRM experience
  • Experience building boards, automations, dashboards and workflow systems
  • Good understanding of database-style thinking, including contacts, relationships, stages and reporting
  • Ability to translate a real-world operational process into a simple CRM structure
  • Strong communication skills and a practical, problem-solving mindset
  • An interest in helping a growing charity build better systems

Experience in foster care, child services or sport is not required. We can explain the work we do and the referral process. What we most need is someone who can help us turn that process into a clear, usable Monday CRM system.

Benefits of volunteering with us

This is a high-impact volunteer opportunity where your skills will directly help a growing charity become more organised, responsive and scalable.

You will have the chance to:

  • Use your CRM and systems skills for a meaningful social purpose
  • Help build a core operational system from the ground up
  • Work directly with the founders and volunteer team
  • Make a practical contribution that will continue helping children long after the initial build
  • Support a charity that is growing quickly and working with clubs, agencies and sporting bodies across Australia

Impact of the opportunity

The CRM you help build will become the operational engine behind our work. It will help us manage referrals more efficiently, follow up carers and caseworkers more consistently, support clubs more effectively, and ultimately help more children in foster and out-of-home care access local sport.

Better systems mean our volunteer team can spend less time chasing information and more time helping children get onto the field, court, pool or track.

**How to apply ** Please apply through SEEK Volunteer and briefly outline your experience with Monday.com / Monday CRM, workflow design, CRM systems or similar platforms.

We would love to hear from people who enjoy building practical systems and want to use their skills to help children in care experience the confidence, connection and belonging that community sport can provide.
