The Opportunity: We are looking for passionate, community-minded leaders to join our Board. As a board member, you will help shape the strategic direction of the organisation, ensure financial sustainability, and advocate for our mission in the wider community.
What You’ll Do: • Strategic Governance: Work alongside fellow board members to set short- and long-term goals. • Advocacy & Outreach: Serve as an ambassador for our cause, leveraging your networks to increase our impact. • Fiduciary Oversight: Review financial statements and ensure our resources are used responsibly. • Fundraising: Support the organisation by helping to identify potential donors and participating in fundraising campaigns.
Who We Are Looking For: While we welcome all passionate advocates, we are currently prioritising candidates with experience in: • Financial Management / Accounting • Corporate Law or Governance
Time Commitment: • Meetings: Monthly. Last Friday of the month. • Time Required: 3-5 hours per month, including meetings.
