Commitment

Regular - more than 6 months

Training

You will receive a full handover from the current Secretary and President so you will be set up for success from day one. You will also be part of the KMBC Committee who work together as a team.

Time required

Time commitment is low – 3-4 hours a month to monitor the Secretary and club Info email accounts, set committee meeting agendas with the President, prepare meeting minutes, ad hoc and annual compliance reporting, etc. You will also attend committee meetings (3-4 a year) and the AGM. It is optional, but always fun, to attend KMBC social events and ride to be part of our awesome, welcoming community.

· Transactions are low in volume, and straightforward, however the Secretary role is best suited with an administrative or someone with governance background. · As you will be authorising payments, you should be familiar with banking apps. · You will have some systems experience as KMBC uses Stripe for automated memberships, TidyHQ for committee work, and Microsoft Excel and Word. · Committee experience including running meeting and preparing for AGM. - A knowledge of WA's Associations Incorporation Act 2015 and model constitution would be very beneficial.
