Birthday Party Volunteer Assistant in Residential Aged Care

Role Responsibilities include:

• Assist with room set up and preparation including table settings and decorations.
• Help serve food and beverages during events.
• Ensure events run smoothly and provide support to residents as needed.
• Maintain a clean and tidy environment before, during, and after events.
• Work closely with staff to create a fun and welcoming atmosphere
• Be able to sing and join with birthday celebrations

Qualifications needed:

• A friendly, approachable, bubbly and compassionate nature.
• No prior experience required; full training will be provided.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• A passion for helping others and contributing to a positive community environment.

Our residents are incredible individuals with rich stories and life experiences that they often enjoy sharing during activity times. They are always eager to connect, as time spent with visitors brings joy and enriches their lives.

Applicants must be over 18 years. This is a regular and ongoing volunteer role.
