Help Sing Sing Sing continue to make a difference in the lives of people living with dementia and the people who care for them.
Sing Sing Sing is seeking a volunteer to:
- oversee the financial administration of Sing Sing Sing
- ensure accurate and useful financial reports are provided to the Board and membership to support accountability and decision making
- oversee management of cash flow and the processing of payments and receipts
- ensure the collection of all revenues and payment of all financial obligations
- oversee bank accounts and processing of payments and receipts
- ensure all financial transactions are recorded in the company's accounts
- ensure compliance with all financial reporting obligations including to ACNC
- revise and develop, as required, policies and procedures to support protection of the company's cash, assets and the volunteers who handle them,
- assist in the preparation of budgets for grant applications and implementation and acquittal of those budgets
- as a member of the Sing Sing Sing Board fulfil associated governance responsibilities
Sing Sing Sing currently has a volunteer who assists with some of the day to day handling of invoicing and reporting. It is anticipated that the Treasurer would continue to have assistance from a volunteer with day to day tasks.
We're a dedicated and enthusiastic team who really believe that Sing Sing Sing makes a positive impact for people living with dementia and for their carers. Many of us have lived experience as a carer for someone living with dementia.
