St Martin's is inviting compassionate individuals to join our Spiritual & Pastoral Care team as volunteers. We are specifically seeking individuals that have availability on Mondays.

About Us

Our Pastoral Care team plays a vital role in offering spiritual and emotional support, companionship, and a comforting presence to residents in their daily lives.

What We’re Looking For

We welcome volunteers who are:

  • Compassionate and attentive listeners
  • Respectful of individual beliefs and values
  • Warm, patient, and genuinely interested in connecting with older people
  • Actively engaged in a Christian faith community
  • Flexible, reliable, and committed to maintaining professional boundaries

Desirable skills and qualities:

  • Understanding of spiritual and emotional needs in aged care
  • Ability to offer supportive conversation and companionship
  • Recognised prior learning in Pastoral Care (highly regarded)

Mandatory Requirements

  • Completion of Volunteer Training (provided)
  • National Police Check (organised and paid for by us)
