Are you a warm, friendly person who enjoys connecting with others? We are looking for volunteers to bring friendship and joy to older adults living in in residential aged care.
We currently have a lovely lady living in Caboolture who would enjoy spending time with a friendly volunteer visitor for relaxed visits, companionship, and social connection.
She enjoys light conversation, watching television, and listening to music. A patient and understanding volunteer who can provide gentle companionship and enjoy sharing quiet moments together would be a wonderful match.
Many older persons have wonderful life stories and unique experiences to share. They would truly value the company of a caring volunteer who is ready to listen. Whether it’s sharing a conversation, enjoying a board game, reading together, taking a walk around the garden, or simply sharing a cup of tea, your presence can make a profound impact on someone’s day.
