Are you a warm, friendly person who enjoys connecting with others? We are looking for volunteers to bring friendship and joy to older adults living in in residential aged care.
We currently have a lovely lady living in Caboolture who would enjoy spending time with a friendly volunteer visitor for engaging visits, companionship, and social connection.
She enjoys craft, walking, reading, discussion groups, and participating in activities. She would appreciate a volunteer who enjoys conversation, sharing interests, and encouraging involvement in enjoyable activities
Many older persons have wonderful life stories and unique experiences to share. They would truly value the company of a caring volunteer who is ready to listen. Whether it’s sharing a conversation, enjoying a board game, reading together, taking a walk around the garden, or simply sharing a cup of tea, your presence can make a profound impact on someone’s day.
