Are you a warm, friendly person who enjoys connecting with others? We are looking for volunteers to bring friendship and joy to older adults living in in residential aged care.
We currently have a lovely gentleman living in Bray Park who would enjoy spending time with a friendly volunteer visitor for relaxed visits, conversation, and companionship.
Having grown up on a farm, he enjoys talking about forestry, gardening, and life on the land. He would love to connect with someone who shares an interest in the outdoors and enjoys meaningful conversation.
Many older persons have wonderful life stories and unique experiences to share. They would truly value the company of a caring volunteer who is ready to listen. Whether it’s sharing a conversation, enjoying a board game, reading together, taking a walk around the garden, or simply sharing a cup of tea, your presence can make a profound impact on someone’s day.
