Training & Development Manager

SES volunteers play a significant and vital role in helping to ensure their local communities are safe. As the Training & Development Manager, you'll:
- Work with our leadership team to plan engaging, realistic and varied weekly training.
- Help identify training opportunities for volunteers and support them through their learning journey.
- Maintain an overview of unit competencies and identify future capability needs.
- Encourage and mentor volunteers who are interested in becoming presenters and trainer assessors.
- Welcome new members and help them navigate their first steps in SES training.
- Coordinate with DFES, neighbouring SES units and partner agencies to access training and exercise opportunities.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, improvement and shared responsibility.
We're looking for someone who:
- Enjoys planning, organising and coordinating people.
- Is a confident communicator who can engage with volunteers of all experience levels.
- Likes finding information and turning it into practical solutions.
- Can develop and improve systems and processes.
- Is comfortable using Microsoft Office and willing to learn systems such as eAcademy.
- Enjoys working as part of a collaborative leadership team.
- Believes that investing in people is one of the best ways to build a stronger SES.

Every new volunteer supported and every training night improved contributes directly to making Bunbury SES safer, stronger and better prepared for the community we serve.
You'll work alongside an experienced leadership team, build strong relationships across the SES units in our region, and play a key role in developing the next generation of SES volunteers and leaders.
