Are you a warm, friendly person who enjoys connecting with others? We are looking for volunteers to bring friendship and joy to older adults living in in residential aged care.
We currently have a lovely lady living in Seven Hills who would enjoy spending time with a friendly volunteer visitor for relaxed visits, conversation, and companionship.
With a little support and encouragement, she enjoys chatting and connecting with others. She prefers one-on-one conversations rather than group activities. She enjoys talking about her two children and is of the Catholic faith.
Many older persons have wonderful life stories and unique experiences to share. They would truly value the company of a caring volunteer who is ready to listen. Whether it’s sharing a conversation, enjoying a board game, reading together, taking a walk around the garden, or simply sharing a cup of tea, your presence can make a profound impact on someone’s day.
