Are you a warm, friendly person who enjoys connecting with others? We are looking for volunteers to bring friendship and joy to older adults living in in residential aged care.
We currently have a lovely lady living in Sinnamon Park who would enjoy spending time with a friendly volunteer visitor for relaxed visits, conversation, and companionship.
Born in California and worked as a chiropractor, running her own successful business. A passionate musician, she plays bass guitar in the residential aged care covers band. She loves her two pet lovebirds, Bluey and Stormy, enjoys keeping up with current affairs, and likes heading to Ted's Café for a coffee on her electric scooter.
Many older persons have wonderful life stories and unique experiences to share. They would truly value the company of a caring volunteer who is ready to listen. Whether it’s sharing a conversation, enjoying a board game, reading together, taking a walk around the garden, or simply sharing a cup of tea, your presence can make a profound impact on someone’s day.
