Help Build Community Partnerships That Make a Difference

At Invisible Injuries, we believe strong communities create stronger outcomes for veterans, first responders and their families.

We're bringing together our Founding Community Partnerships Team to help connect with local businesses, community organisations and supporters who want to make a genuine difference.

This project will support the outreach of our upcoming documentary while helping build long-term relationships that strengthen the future of our wellbeing programs.

Whether your strengths are building relationships, organising information, communicating with people or simply wanting to contribute to a worthwhile cause, we'd love to hear from you.

Your role may include:

  • Researching local businesses and community organisations.
  • Identifying potential sponsorship and partnership opportunities.
  • Introducing organisations to Invisible Injuries.
  • Following up enquiries using our prepared resources.
  • Maintaining our partnership database.
  • Supporting marketing and community engagement activities.
  • Working alongside a supportive volunteer team.

We'll provide:

  • A structured onboarding program.
  • Sponsorship and outreach templates.
  • Email guides and project resources.
  • Ongoing mentoring and support.
  • Weekly team check-ins.
  • Flexible volunteering that fits around work and family commitments.

We'd love to hear from people who enjoy:

  • Building relationships.
  • Professional communication.
  • Marketing or business development.
  • Administration and organisation.
  • Community engagement.
  • Working collaboratively as part of a team.

Previous fundraising experience isn't essential—we'll provide the tools and support to help you succeed.

Why volunteer with us?

You'll gain practical experience while helping create meaningful opportunities that support the mental health and wellbeing of veterans, first responders and their families.

Every conversation, introduction and partnership helps expand the reach of our documentary and strengthens the future of programs that make a real difference in people's lives.

What happens next?

If shortlisted, we'll invite you to complete a short Expression of Interest questionnaire before arranging an informal online conversation. Together, we'll explore where your skills and interests are the best fit within our Community Partnerships Team.
