Coffee Shop Volunteers Needed

Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of older people? When you become an Anglicare Volunteer, you join a dedicated team who brighten people’s lives every day.

We are looking for volunteers who would enjoy helping in a cosy café/kiosk located within our residential aged care home in The Ponds.

This role is ideal for someone with a warm, friendly nature who loves engaging with older people, their families, and visitors.

As a café volunteer, you’ll assist with making and serving tea, coffee, and light refreshments, clearing and resetting tables, assist with the sale of smallgoods, responsible handling of small cash payments, and offering a welcoming presence by chatting with residents and their guests.

Shifts run for 1–2 hours, with opportunities available on weekdays and weekends.
